This cushion forming-perennial herb forms hard, dense cushions or carpets up to 2m across. Umbels have four to eight yellow flowers on a very short stem. Leaves are single pointed and shiny.
Coastal and found in dwarf shrub heath, maritime cliffs and coastal cushion heath.
Tufted Azorella is native to the Falkland Islands and occurs in southern South America,Tierra del Fuego, Argentina and Chile.
